ESB brings you free Rainbow Six Siege betting tips for a pair of Brazil League Stage 2 playoff games on Friday, September 29. Here are our selections for Black Dragons vs Keyd Stars and E1 Sports vs FaZe Clan, with odds courtesy of the top R6S betting sites in Seychelles.

BLACK DRAGONS vs KEYD STARS R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: BD $1.25 at GG Bet | Keyd $3.75 at GG Bet
When: September 29, 2023 | 12:00 BRT
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rainbow6br)

Black Dragons were exposed by Ninjas in Pyjamas (4-7) in the final match of Group A as they suffered their first defeat of Brazil League 2023 Stage 2. Considering their poor entry stats, that loss was hardly shocking, but even though Black Dragons are far from stable, they’re expected to do well in the first round of the knockout stage.

Keyd Stars finished Group B in third place, with a 1-0-1-2 record and just one win against MiBR (7-3). Their only other notable performances were an overtime loss against Team Liquid (6-8) and a relatively solid showing (4-7) against w7m esports.

Black Dragons are an excellent team with a high ceiling, but they have an exploitable weakness. If the Black Dragons can improve their entry stats, a top-three finish in Brazil League Stage 2 won’t escape them, but until we see some improvement, it’s fair to believe that Vinicius “Patoxy” Lima and his crew can drop a map against Keyd Stars.

E1 SPORTS vs FAZE CLAN R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: E1 $5.50 at GG Bet | FaZe $1.12 at GG Bet
When: September 29, 2023 | 15:00 BRT
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rainbow6br)

E1 Sports finished Group B with a 2-1-0-1 record and a lone defeat against the region’s top dogs, w7m esports. FaZe Clan, meanwhile, barely made it through Group A, although their 1-0-1-2 record doesn’t paint a complete picture.

Despite what their numbers suggest, FaZe Clan did not look too bad during the group stage. FaZe nearly defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas (7-8), and they arguably should’ve beaten Black Dragons (5-7 in the fourth round.

FaZe Clan are capable of much more than what their numbers suggest, which explains why they’re expected to defeat E1 Sports. But while that’s a fair assessment, the $1.57 head-o-head price on offer at GG Bet is too short for our liking.

Even though FaZe Clan can always count on Lucas “soulz1” Schinke, they’ll also have to contain E1’s Thiago “xS3xyCake” Reis, which is easier said than done. FaZe should be favourites, but at this price, we’re getting more value backing E1 Sports.

The Sentinels have completed their roster ahead of the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour with Hunter SicK Mims signing on.

The 24-year old will return as the sixth man in the new starting line-up after spending five months on the bench.? ?The North American franchise had earlier teased that they would not be fielding a sixth man in their lineup ahead of the VCT 2023 season.

This left some fans wondering why the franchise had resorted to such a decision, while others reinstated their confidence in the five-man roster, stating that a sixth man is not needed.?

?Competitive Update: We will not be fielding a 6th man on our roster for the upcoming VCT 2023 season, the teaser update read.? ?

An hour later, they proceeded to announce the return of SicK in an official update as the SicKth man.? ?

Were gonna have a SICKTH man, the official release read.?

?The secret weapon returns @SicK_cs.?

?The Sentinels underwent a full team rebuild around their superstar Valorant player TenZ after a poor outing in the 2022 VCT season.

Despite fielding some surprising stand-in performances from Michael shroud Grzesiek and Jordan Zellis Montemurro, the franchise failed to make it out of the VCT 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier and, as such, were absent at the VALORANT Champions 2022.? ?

In the course of their rebuild, the franchise were forced to part ways with Eric Kanpeki Xu and proceeded to move Michael dapr Gulino and?Shahzeb ShahZaM Khan to the inactive roster as they have no intention of renewing their contracts.? ?

They parted ways with head coach Shane Rawkus Flaherty and signed on Don SyykoNT Muir from XSET as his replacement. The Sentinels also recruited Ghost Gaming coach Adam kaplan Kaplan as the team’s strategic coach.? ?

Two days after joining Sentinels, SyykoNT brought in zekken and more recently added dephh to the roster. Both players being former members of his successful work at XSET reassures fans that the Sentinels could go all the way in the upcoming season.

The team also procured the services of World Champions with the inclusion of two of LOUDs players, Sacy and pANcada.? ?

SicK will join Tyson TenZ Ngo, Zachary zekken Patrone, Gustavo Sacy Rossi, Bryan pANcada Luna, and in-game leader Rory dephh Jackson in the capacity of the primary substitute role.

With SicK back in the line-up, he becomes the last player from the original Sentinels roster from the summer of 2020.? ?Although he was part of the Sentinels’ roster upon their entry into the Valorant scene in 2020, SicK was on the sidelines for most of the 2022 season.

Due to a family emergency, SicK was subbed out of a VCT match and a month later announced that he would be taking a break in a bid to protect his mental health.? ?

His return has fans in a frenzy as they look forward to the new Sentinels rosters performance in the VCT 2023 Kickoff event set to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in February.

]]>
Lincoln “fnx” Lau, a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, has resigned from the primary roster of the Brazilian team Imperial in order to serve the organization as a coach and broadcaster.

“fnx is no longer in the five-man line-up as a player. Instead, he will bring his years of experience… to the squads coaching role ahead of the next Major,” Imperial tweeted.

The news follows a report in July that revealed Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes would replace fnx as the South American team’s rifler.

Fnx announced that he will be coaching the Imperial team at the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) Americas tournament that will take place from October 4-9, 2022, in anticipation of advancing to the IEM Rio Major 2022. He will be taking over from the previous Imperial coach, Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu, whose departure from the team was revealed this month.

Fnx has spent time on several different Counter-Strike teams throughout his career, with sporadic pauses in between moves lasting for years. Now, the seasoned Brazilian player has made up his mind to call it quits for good.

“In the last semester, it was five intense months to remember how much I love CS, but also to remember why I was out of competition for so long. I dont know if Ill miss playing, but if that happens, Ill change my decision and reinvent myself,” fnx commented on Imperials tweet.

An astounding sum of US$200,000 was requested to purchase fnx’s replacement, chelo, from MIBR. The two-time major winner signed the “Last Dance” initiative in January of this year, reconnecting with the rest of his trophy-winning partners and surprising fans at the recent PGL Antwerp Major 2022 tournament, playing under the Imperial flag.

Even though most of the players had been on different teams for a number of years, the Imperial side nonetheless managed to place 9th-11th at the Antwerp competition, which impressed fans. In the end, it seems as though this accomplishment was little more than a flicker on the CS:GO radar screen.

Fnx first became a member of the infamous Luminosity CS:GO team in the latter half of 2015, where he played alongside Brazilian esports stars like Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and Marcelo “coldzera” David. Luminosity eventually went on to awe the CS:GO community by winning the MLG Columbus major in 2016, which led to some other trophies during their time together as a team.

Subsequently, he joined them at SK Gaming, where the team kept their dominant streak going for a little while longer. Ever since fnx has participated in a number of Brazilian teams from lesser divisions to improve skills of other young players.

Despite the fact that there have been multiple reports in Counter-Strike claiming that chelo will replace fnx, there have been no official statements. It is hoped that some information will be made public very shortly.

]]>
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive two-time Majors champion announced his intention to retire from competitive scene by the end of 2023.

Toledo has over 17 years experience within the esports scene but his time as a competitive player is drawing to an end, although it would not surprise if his Last Dance team cause more upsets.

FalleN, who is well-known for his unmatchable skills and back-to-back Majors wins in 2016; was also named “The Godfather of Brazilian CS” for his contribution to the development of the Brazilian scene.?

He joined Johan “N0tail” Sundsten, the OG founder and CEO of JMR Luna, on the “Monkey Business Show” podcast and spoke on several esports-related issues.

FalleN disclosed that he had recently found himself wondering about the end of his career more than usual. He said, “You cannot do the same thing your entire life; its impossible. Maybe Ive been thinking about that myself lately because Im going to stop sometime soon, in the next year and a half, something like that. ”
?
At the moment, the CSGO esports star is playing alongside Lincoln “fnx” Lau and Fernando “fer” Alvarenga. Both were part of the team that worked with FalleN in 2016 to enable him to win back-to-back CS:GO Major titles. The project is called “Last Dance” and is housed by Imperial.
?
During the podcast, the 32-year-old explained that the decision was not an easy one to make because he had spent around 18 years of his life playing.
?
FalleN explained that he had watched some matches of the new team and saw that they were “so good.” The player also revealed that, besides competitive playing, he was interested in three other career routes in the future, one of which was coaching the younger players. However, the role was in line with what he was doing at the moment, which did not provide him with enough time to spend at home.
?
“I really like streaming,” FalleN said.

“I really like creating content and being in touch with people. Streaming is pretty cool because I would be able to stay at home, and thats something that I think about.

“I really like the teaching part of the game, where I can develop new players. Im really fascinated by it. I have a lot of knowledge that I really know how to pass on. I know things that can make people better. Thats what I did a long time ago, and maybe when I finish [my career], I can go back to it.”
?
FalleN started playing in the mid-2000s and participated in competitions like CS 1.6, CS:Source, and CrossFire, and by 2013 he had transitioned to CS:GO.

The year 2016 was his best yet after winning the ESL One Cologne and MLG Columbus Majors with SK Gaming and Luminosity, respectively.
?
That same year, the player was named the second-best player worldwide, while Marcelo “coldzera” David, his teammate, was named the best. FalleN continued his winning streak with SK well into 2017. However, a year later, teams like FaZe, Astralis, and NAVI started taking more wins.
?
That same year, SK was transferred to MINR, owned by Immortals, and success seemed to move further in the following years. FalleN eventually left the team in September 2020 and joined Team Liquid. His tenure with the team spanned only a year, and they were unable to win any trophies within that period.?
?
In a bid to recreate the success they previously had, FalleN partnered with some of his Major winning teammates in 2022 to create the Last Dance. The team joined Imperial and qualified for New Legends Stage in PGL Major Antwerp but was defeated by Copenhagen Flames in the final round.

Toledo’s next stop on his farewell tour will be the IEM Rio Major between October and November. The tournament is the first ever Valve-sponsored gaming event to take place in Brazil.

Team oNe has gone into a partnership with a blockchain company in a bid to offer more value to its fan base. The company Liqi will create Fan Token products for the Brazilian esports organization.

The product is to be allotted an initial value of R$25, and it will be hosted on Liqis platform. The product has been scheduled to be released officially on July 19.

The Fan Token will offer its owners direct access to exclusive content, participation in promotional activations, and discounts on Team oNe merchandise.

Buyers will also be privy to a limited offering to be made on the day of the launch. These limited offerings will see buyers receive casual shirts, Team oNe jerseys, dedicated classes with coaches, and many other experiences within the organization.

Team oNe Chief Executive Officer Alexander Kakavel lauded the partnership with Liqi, referring to them as a safe and credible platform.

We chose to do this with Liqi, as it is a safe and credible platform, Kakavel said.

We have high expectations with this partnership, its a chance for our own community to help Team oNe be bigger.

Over the span of the first half of the year, Liqi has continued to grow its footprint in the Brazilian esports community. Earlier in May, Liqi secured a partnership with Vivo Keyd, which saw the creation of NFT and Fan Token products for the organization.

The blockchain company was also a part of the sponsors of the Brazilian VALORANT tournament Spike Ladies, alongside Razer and Kaspersky. Liqi also provided all of its partners with digital services and products, which were resident on its platform.

Asides from Team oNe and Vivo Keyd, who both run fan-based tokenization projects. MIBR, which is owned by Immortals Gaming, recently engaged in its Fan Token project with socios.com.

Daniel Coquieri, Chief Executive Officer of Liqi, talked about the potential expansion of Fan Token products within the esports community. He revealed that Fan Token creates a connection between fans and their favorite teams and players, rewarding true fans for their loyalty.

The purpose of creating the Fan Token is to connect people with their favorite teams and artists, in a very simple and effective way, with rewards that really make a difference for those who are true fans, Coquieri stated.

Founded in 2016 as part of the portfolio of the Brazilian investment company, OutField Consulting. Team oNe was mostly known for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rainbow Six Siege teams. But the franchise saw a switch in 2017 after it won the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLOL) title.

According to Streams Charts, Alexandre Gaules Borba, one of the most famous Brazilian Twitch streamers, was the most-watched content creator on the network last month.

In May, the former?professional Counter-Strike player garnered 28.83 million hours viewed, which was?four million far beyond Flix “xQc” Lengyel, who had been on top ever since the?start of the year. However, throughout the month, the French-Canadian star had streamed for significantly fewer hours than Gaules.

Gaules’ remarkable hours were accumulated after the Brazilian content creator co-streamed the PGL Antwerp CS:GO Major, which happens to be?one of the year’s greatest esports events thus far.

Numerous Brazilian teams competed in the competition, which almost certainly?helped the content creator?reach new heights last month. During the event, the 38-year-old?Gaules had the most-watched Twitch stream, which enabled him to create a new viewing record.

Even though Gaules was the most-viewed streamer in May, xQc still had a great month, coming in second with 24.29 million hours viewed. Meanwhile, Asmongold came in third with 19,57 million watched hours.?

The broadcast of the PGL Antwerp Major on the primary channel garnered 14.42 million hours of viewership and finished fifth in the ratings. Riot Games placed sixth with 12.39 million hours viewed after conducting the Mid-Season Invitational.

Ibai, a Spanish content creator and influencer, placed 10th with 7.68 million hours viewed, proving that there were other non-English speakers in the top 10 with?Gaules.

The Brazilian streamer had a major hit with his Twitch broadcasts during the PGL Antwerp CS:GO Major. According to EsportsCharts, he secured 18.37 million hours viewed?during the competition, making him the No.1 broadcast of the past Major.

Even when combined, Gaules greatly outperformed the official English broadcast given by PGL. PGL’s A stream received 14.61 million hours of viewing time, while the B stream garnered 3.13 million. Other notable significant?broadcasts were the official Russian broadcast?with 5.8 million hours viewed,?and the one from CS:Steam GO’s client, which garnered 6.64 million.

Official broadcasts, such as PGL and Gaules, were distinguished from those produced by community streamers by EsportsCharts. With 870,000 hours viewed, Argentinian streamer Goncho topped the rankings.

Gaules set a number of records during the PGL Antwerp Major. When Imperial, Brazil’s most popular CS:GO team, was facing Cloud9 to avoid elimination, his feed peaked at 707,600 viewers. He currently holds the all-time record for Portuguese-language streaming, surpassing Felipe Neto and Casimiro, two well-known Brazilian streamers.

Gaules announced during the Major playoffs that he had exceeded 100,000 Twitch subscribers. According to TwitchTracker data, he joined the ranks of Ludwig, Ninja, Ironmouse, Critical Role, Casimiro, RanbooLive, xQc, and Shroud.

In early 2018, the previous?coach and professional player started?streaming on Twitch and?swiftly became one of Brazil’s most popular streamers. In both 2020 and 2021, he received the Brazilian esports award (Prmio eSports Brasil) for best streamer.

The post Rainbow Six Charlotte Major hampered by ping issues appeared first on Esport Bet.

Three teams from Brazil are participating in the 2022 Rainbow Six Charlotte Major from Mexico, and all have complained about ping issues after their first games in the tournament.

The first LAN event since 2020 commenced on May 16 but has started on a poor note as teams have complained of competing at a disadvantage. Participants and fans have looked forward to a LAN event for a while, but the Charlotte Major has been riddled with controversies thus far.

It has been reported that the teams playing from Mexico are playing with an 80ms ping, compared to the 1ms those in Charlotte are playing with. Seeing as not all teams are on hand, the ideal situation would have been to make sure every team plays with the same ping to guarantee fair play.

The same was implemented in the 2022 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational, as the LPL representatives, Royal Never Give Up, were allowed to participate remotely while everyone in the tournament played with a ping close to 35ms.

In a press conference organized by Ubisoft in Charlotte, DarkZero Esports player Paul “Hyper” Kontopanagiotis confirmed the ping being used in the offline event, further stating that if others are genuinely playing at 80ms, they are at a disadvantage.

“We have one ping and they have around 70-80. So, for us, still feels like LAN,” he said.

“Its hard to say how much of a disadvantage they are at – were not there to see it – but if its actually 80 ping, I would say the LAN players have quite an advantage.”

Hyper’s teammate Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski also had some things to say about the news.

“It’s been an unfortunate situation. I mean, there’s been quite a few unfortunate situations heading into this event,” he said.

“It kinda is what it is, sucks that they have to play on that… I definitely believe it’s a disadvantage for them.”

FURIA Esports, w7m esports, and Team oNe eSports are the three teams competing from Mexico City due to failure to secure visas into the US. The fourth team from Brazil, Team Liquid, secured their visas and are present at the Charlotte Convention Center.

There has been an uproar on social media as the affected teams air their grievances.

FURIA’s Diogo “Fntzy” Lima said: “You are sabotaging us, unacceptable…”

Igor “igoorctg” Santos, head coach of w7m, has also expressed his displeasure, wondering why organizers would not make sure all teams are playing with the same ping.

He said: “1 vs 80 ping, LOL, is this a Major? why can’t we play with both teams with 30 ping?”

Regardless of how things have turned out, the Brazilian teams in Mexico have had decent starts. Team oNe won their first game against Dire Wolves on opening day but lost to Oxygen Esports.

In Group B, although all teams have three points, FURIA are holding the No.2 spot because of their RND differential. They lost their first game against XSET but bounced back against Brazilian counterparts Liquid.

W7m have managed one overtime victory and one loss. They are currently ranked fourth but will play four more games before the group stage is over.

While the ping discrepancy is the prevailing issue, it is not the only major disruption of the Six Charlotte Major. APAC’s Elevate were completely removed from the tournament because they failed to secure visas to the US or Mexico to compete online.

The top two teams in every group will advance to the playoffsm which will commence on May 20. Every team is fighting for a piece of the US$500,000 prize fund and Six Invitational points. With Elevate’s unavailability, only one team will be eliminated from Group A.

Esportbet brings you free Rainbow Six Siege betting predictions for Saturday’s Brasileir?o 2021 Stage 3 bouts. Here are our best bets for FURIA Esports vs Santos e-Sports, Black Dragons e-Sports vs INTZ, and Team oNe eSports vs Ninjas in Pyjamas.

FURIA ESPORTS vs SANTOS E-SPORTS R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

R6S Betting Odds: FURIA $1.62 at GG Bet | Santos $3.13 at GG Bet

?On Saturday, Santos e-Sports caused quite an upset when they clinched an overtime win against FaZe Clan (8-6). Santos kept their wheels spinning and picked up another huge (7-5) victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas on Sunday.

Regardless of their remarkable run, Santos e-Sports enter this match as heavy underdogs. That makes sense since you could argue that Santos’s wins were flukes. Still, we have to consider that Santos have momentum on their side, which could help them upset FURIA, who are fresh off a commanding 7-3 victory against Team oNe eSports.

FURIA Esports last met with Santos in July, during the second stage of Brasileir?o, and won 7-4, adding their third head-to-head victory on the year (3-2). Having won all of their last three meetings with Santos, FURIA are expected to deliver on Saturday; however, with some esports betting sites paying as much as $3.13 for Santos e-Sports, the outsiders offer incredible value.

BLACK DRAGONS E-SPORTS vs INTZ R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

R6S Betting Odds: Dragons $1.64 at GG Bet | INTZ $2.15 at GG Bet

?Black Dragons e-Sports lost their opening match of Brasileir?o 2021 – Stage 3 against MiBR on Saturday (3-7). In their defence, Black Dragons played well, but they couldn’t stop MiBR’s Felipe “FelipoX” de Lucia, who had an outstanding performance. In contrast, Black Dragons’ new signing, Guilherme “Bassetto” Bassetto, had a disastrous debut (0.64 rating).

INTZ’s only match of this stage came on Sunday when they fell flat against MiBR. Like Black Dragons, INTZ couldn’t contain FelipoX, who singlehandedly carried his side to a victory with a rating of 1.60 and 82% KOST (Kill, Objective, Survive, Trade).

Both teams lost against the same opponent, so it’s hard to use those results to figure out how well will they match up this weekend. Even their head-to-head record doesn’t help, seeing how they’re 1-1 on the year, with Black Dragons winning 7-2 in March and INTZ securing a revenge 8-7 win in June.

Everything points to a 50/50 match, which is why we’re leaning more towards INTZ at plus money.

TEAM ONE ESPORTS vs NINJAS IN PYJAMAS R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

R6S Betting Odds: oNe $1.93 at GG Bet | NiP $1.79 at GG Bet
When: September 18, 2021 at 15:00 BRT
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/R6EsportsBR)

?Ninjas in Pyjamas are 0-2, with losses against Team Liquid (7-8) and Santos e-Sports (5-7), which suggests that they’re not in the best form. On a more positive note, NiP came back from 3-6 against Liquid to force overtime. On the other hand, it’s hard to explain their performance against Santos, who won four of their six attacks.

Mexico Major champions, Team oNe eSports, dodged the bullet on Saturday when they edged past W7M Gaming (8-7), who led 6-3 after nine rounds of play. In their second bout of the tournament, oNe lost against FURIA (3-7), mainly due to their poor performance as defenders (0-4).

NiP were very shaky in their tournament openers; however, it’s not like Team oNe performed much better last week. Even though NiP are 0-2, they are still much stronger than Team oNe and shouldn’t be priced this long.
